GALETTE DES ROIS / KING’s CAKE

The Galette des Rois, celebrating Epiphany, is baked throughout January in France. Composed of two circles of puff pastry sandwiching an almond cream (frangipane), each comes with a crown and has a Feve (trinket) baked into it. If your slice has the feve, you get the crown and the right to be king or queen for the day. A fun tradition!
